2023 Cranberry Sunset farm Event
Forty five children in care along with CCA staff had an amazing day at Cranberry Sunset Farm in Marstons Mills, MA. They groomed the horses, met the cows, goats, sheep and chickens, and even had a wonderful hay ride through the woods. After enjoying the animals, they gathered to make some awesome crafts, including lighted lanterns, facial scrub, macrame hangers and even pickles. The day concluded with a picnic luncheon. Most importantly, everyone felt loved and connected. One child who recently lost a guardian through death found joy and peace while engaging in the activities with us. God is good!

2022 Leadership Training camp
In July 2022, we welcomed 31 children from foster care for a week-long training program. The children engaged in swimming, boating, games, and a high ropes course. They also attended daily leadership training classes and identity building events. They learned that through God’s love they were Created, they Belong, they are Loved, and they have a Purpose. They attended a formal tea party and soap box derby car races, as well as celebrating their own Birthday, Christmas, and Easter. Each event displayed the love that God has for each of them. As one foster parent stated:
“I can not believe the difference in my child after just one week of camp. She is peaceful, less anxious, and so much more confident in trying new things. Thank you!” |
